PPHH is for the benefit of cats who need to be rescued off the streets and homes where owners are unable to take care of them. We gained charity status in December '21. We rescue strays, cats in need and pregnant cats, aiming to socialise and rehabilitate them before they are appropriately re-homed.

Story

I adopted my sweet baby angel, Blair, in October 2024. My friends and family all joked the reason I wanted to buy a house was to be able to rescue a cat (and this is pretty much true).

Blair had been left at PawPurrs’s door pregnant and just a kitten herself. She was skinny and didn’t know how to play with toys, but still so friendly! They took such good care of her - one of the volunteers even took her home as Blair hated all the other cats at the rescue and needed VIP treatment. Every person I encountered there you could SEE how much they cared for all the cats and how much they genuinely wanted to find each one of them the perfect home.

Now five months later when her John Lewis automatic feeder goes off at 4am and she’s chirping with happiness I know she feels grateful. When she then comes back up to bed and I can hear her purring as she jumps up (often wanting a cuddle), I know I also feel grateful.

That’s why I’m raising money for PawPurrs, so that more cats and people get to feel the joy I know Blair and I do. I’m grateful for every single donation and it’ll help get me through when I’m in the pits at 35k (probably earlier but being optimistic)
