10k for Nacoa 🏃‍♀️💨

I’ve decided to get my trainers on and join Team Nacoa for the London Olympic Park 10k on 11th July 2026. I’ll be one of 100 runners taking on the challenge this year, inspired by Chasing Yesterday.

To be honest, 10k will be the furthest I have ever run! This is going to be a massive personal challenge for me, but it’s nothing compared to the hurdles some children face every day.

I’m lucky enough never to have been personally impacted by this, but the reality is that 1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents’ drinking. As a mum myself, that statistic is heartbreaking. Nacoa provides a vital lifeline so that no child has to feel like they are facing this alone.

Every penny makes a massive difference to the support Nacoa can provide:

£10 provides 5 info packs for professionals working with children.

£60 pays for a whole week of free helpline calls.

£400 trains a new volunteer helpline counsellor.

£800 keeps the entire helpline running for 6 weeks.
