Myself and Alex are running the Rainbow Run 5K in memory of our daughter, Nicole.

Losing our daughter was the most heartbreaking and painful experience of our lives. On October 4th, 2024, at just 19 weeks, our beautiful baby girl Nicole was born. Though our time with her was far too short, she will always be deeply loved and remembered.

During such an incredibly hard and emotional time, the care and compassion we received from the Robin and Bereavement Team at Lister Hospital’s maternity ward meant everything to us.

Our incredible midwife, whose name was Nicole, supported us with such kindness, strength, and compassion that we chose to name our daughter after her. The entire Robin and Bereavement Team made us feel safe, seen, and never alone. Thanks to them, we were able to make lasting memories with our daughter Nicole — including precious hand and foot prints and photographs that we will cherish forever.

We are hoping to raise £200 in honour of our daughter Nicole and in gratitude to the Robin and Bereavement Team. These funds will help ensure other families facing loss receive the same incredible care and support we did.
