Maggie’s Centres are warm and welcoming places built alongside NHS hospitals that provide the support that people with cancer and their family and friends need. www.maggiescentres.org

Story

I’ve been locked up at the Jail or Bail event today (27 September) to raise funds for Maggie’s Edinburgh.

Please help me to gain my freedom by making a donation, every penny counts. Without your help I will be in the clink for the weekend!

About Maggie’s

One in two people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetime. It has never been more essential to have access to the support available at Maggie’s.

For many people living in Edinburgh and Lothians, the Maggie's centre is a beacon of hope, offering a unique programme of practical and psychological support, available free of charge to anyone affected by a diagnosis of cancer, including family and friends. Maggie’s is a homely, warm, welcoming place away from the clinical environment of the hospital where people with cancer find the hope, determination, and the resources they need to cope with one of the toughest challenges any of us is likely to have to face.

Maggie’s rely almost entirely on voluntary donations to provide their services. Thank you for supporting Jail or Bail. Your kindness and generosity will make an incredible difference.
