Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Living with and beyond cancer refers to the support and personalised care provided to people from the moment of diagnosis, throughout treatment, and into life afterwards.

The Homerton Cancer Care Team currently runs The Tuesday Circle, a weekly drop-in group for anyone living with cancer in City and Hackney. Here, people can share experiences, find community, and take part in wellbeing activities. The Homerton Hope Charity are hoping to be able to fund this group going forward as well as to develop other similar community-based spaces, accessible to a wide range of people navigating life with and beyond cancer.

So why do we need your help? Due to ongoing cuts and limited funding, the future of the Tuesday Circle is unclear - putting at risk an invaluable supportive space for those living with cancer. An Evening of Words and Music aims to raise the essential funds needed to keep this group running and to ensure that no one in our community has to face cancer alone.

We appreciate any donations!
