MAG Sri Lanka Cycle Challenge 2026

Since 2015, UK executives from the Wholesale and Convenience sector have raised an extraordinary £1.5 million for MAG's life-saving work around the world. Please support the team as they take on their 11th cycling challenge in Sri Lanka.

Story

Over the last decade, over 130 UK Wholesale, Convenience, FMCG and Service Provider executives have cycled across Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, the UK, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and most recently Tanzania, raising over £1.55 million for MAG (Mines Advisory Group) – the Manchester based charity, awarded Co-Laureate of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize for its role in the International Campaign to Ban Landmines.

Every day, 15 people are killed or injured by landmines and unexploded bombs. Almost half of casualties are children. MAG’s teams around the world remove these items for good from communities affected by conflict. Every landmine and weapon taken out of the ground is a life saved, an injury prevented, and a community given the chance to rebuild.

The Sri Lanka Cycle Challenge 2026 is the “last one for the road” and the 11th challenge taken on by the Bikes Against Bombs team.
