As you may know, we lost our mum in September 2024. Mum was a fiercely private person and hated people making a fuss about her, and as such i wont go into detail of her struggles in her last years. But for the last year of her life, we gradually lost the person we called our Mum and the person our children called their Nan to Dementia. We wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

We will be taking on the 100km London to Brighton Ultra challenge, starting in Richmond Park and finishing on Brighton Seafront, spanning 2 days in May 2026 in her memory, and to help those struggling with this awful disease. 🤍

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family, working towards a day where no one has to face dementia alone.
