As you may know, we lost our mum in September 2024. Mum was a fiercely private person so we won’t go into detail. But for the last 9 months of her life, we lost the person we called our Mum and the person our children called their Nanna. We wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

We will be completing the 100km London to Brighton challenge over 2 days in May 2026 in her memory and to help those struggling with this awful disease 🤍

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family, working towards a day where no one has to face dementia alone.
