In 2016 Andy, Clive & Nigel entered an OSB car into the Rusty Rally in aid of The Outward-Bound Trust’s programme for disadvantaged children, which is a great cause, and in 2016 with the amazing help of our friends and corporate partners, we managed to raise just over £20,000 for the charity.

In 2024 the cause feels even more important, given the hardships that so many young people experience, so we have decided to give it another go. The premise is simple – a very cheap car (less than £1000) hacking its way through seven countries in 3 days covering thousands of miles, whilst ludicrously branded and logo’d up and often held together by duck tap and luck.

The 2024 Rally starts in Belgium and many countries, hazards, breakdowns, and probably minor accidents with other participants later ends in the Italian lakes 3 days later.

This year we run from the 12th to the 15th of June. The car has been purchased (a convertible Saab, as stylish as we could get for £1,000) and we are now seeking to raise as much sponsorship as possible to try and beat the 2016 target.
