Kids Operating Room (KidsOR) enables access to surgery for children in low-resource countries. With 99 operating rooms across 34 different countries, KidsOR works with local healthcare professionals to provide healthcare to children who don't readily have access to such lifechanging expertise. KidsOR will provide operating rooms, medical equipment and specialist training to ensure that the children treated receive the quality of care they deserve. I am delighted to take part in KidsOR's October trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Based out of Dundee and Edinburgh, it is amazing to see the global influence this Scottish based charity has. This trip is sponsored by my fantastic company, Stryker, and I am honoured to be representing them on this expedition.
