Angel Ward and members of the NYHO will play their harps continuously for what would normally be a day of rehearsals in Horsham on Sunday 17th May (for a total of seven and a half hours).

The NYHO is a charitable trust.

The NYHO was set up in 2002 and now boasts 40 of the most talented harpists from all over the UK. In 2017 the orchestra became a charity. This supports players and the community in the following ways:

Bursaries: The NYHO provides financial support for talented harpists from all economic backgrounds.

Graduate Bursary: each year the NYHO provides £1000 to a member of the senior orchestra going on to study music at a university or conservatoire.

Community Outreach: in addition to a full concert schedule and overseas concerts members play in care homes, hospitals and the MacMillan Centre.
