I am pleased and honoured to share that I have been selected to take part in Leg 3 of the Turn to Starboard Full Circle Tall Ships Expedition that starts with Leg 1 on the 17th March 2026. This incredible journey is not just an adventure; in collaboration with the Invictus Games, Turn to Starboard are sailing for 13 weeks, circumnavigating 2,000-nautical-mile of the United Kingdom coastline by two tall ships, with a crew of wounded injured or sick veterans and serving personal, to honour the sacrifices of those who have served and to builds a lasting legacy of hope, healing, and possibility. It is more than a voyage, it’s a powerful story of courage, service, and renewal – a testament to how adventure and the sea can help heal, inspire, and bring people together.

Also on board will be the Invictus Games Flag, ready to launch the one year count down to the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027. The two traditionally rigged tall ships – Pellew and Spirit of Falmouth – will be calling at ports across all four nations of the United Kingdom and inviting the local community’s to give us a wave or come and say hello at one of the open deck events.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will help Turn to Starboard provide essential support and resources for individuals seeking a new direction. All the money raised will support the Turn to Starboard charity, so they can continue to give wounded, injured, or sick members of the the Armed Forces, life transforming training and experiences.
