I haven’t done any physical fundraising for a while. My last outing was abseiling for St.George’s. That was much more psychological - mind over matter.

This time it’s physical! A 5k including huge inflatable obstacles.

Jack and I are both taking part and hope to raise funds for Disability Challengers. Both Phoebe and Sammy have benefitted from the support and care offered by Challengers and Phoebe now goes there regularly during the school holidays for a few days each week. Kirsty and I also take both children to the regular open days held on a Sunday to the centre in Farnham because the children are safe and are free to be themselves there.

I’ve also worked with several children over the years who have benefitted from the Challengers experience.

I never expected to be taking my own grandchildren there but I’m so grateful to Disability Challengers for all they do for families like ours throughout Surrey.

I know they have a huge waiting list of children desperate to use their services and I know that Challengers are always in need of financial support so I do hope you’ll consider supporting Jack and I in our latest venture.
