On Saturday 17th May, Gaz and I are taking part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge, with a great bunch of folk from our professional network.
26 miles... that's a long way for my little legs! It's also forecast to be HOT, which will make it even more of a challenge. But one we want to take on for a very wonderful charity and the timing is particularly poignant with it being mental health awareness week.
The little push 4 good is a relatively new charity that provides grants to people being supported by mental health professionals, to enable them to take part in activities that will provide them with a focus and a way of taking positive steps to manage their mental wellbeing.
Whether it's a sport, music, art, photography or other learning activity, all are proven to help prevent and also recover from mental ill health.
Gaz and I both use physical exercise and sport to support our mental health and we want to give other people who are struggling the option to do this.
Every donation, whether large or small is much appreciated and will support someone in need.
