Our vision is for a more active world for better mental health.
Decades of science prove that having an activity focus (physical activity, music, art, learning) can both promote mental wellbeing and help people to recover from mental illness.
We help people currently struggling with their mental health and supported by NHS teams. Our aim is to help them unlock an activity focus which can be an important part of their recovery alongside the medical and psychological support they are receiving.
It is highly likely that as you read this that you, a loved one or a friend is struggling with their mental health. Over 8m people are taking prescription medications for a mental health issue and 1.8m people are being supported by NHS Mental Health teams.
This crisis is impacting on millions of families and we aim to change the script by putting activity at the heart of both promoting mental wellbeing and recovering from mental illness.
