On Saturday 10th October, I’ll be taking on Tough Mudder Manchester with a fantastic group of ladies to raise money for the Owen McVeigh Foundation.

I’m taking part to support Nic, who I know through the gym, and her family. In April 2023, Nic's daughter Sophia was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at just two years old, and went on to undergo 25 months of intensive treatment at Alder Hey Hospital.

During this incredibly difficult time, the Owen McVeigh Foundation supported Sophia and her family, helping to provide support, kindness and special memories when they needed it most.

Thankfully, Sophia has now finished her treatment and is enjoying life again.

We’re hoping to raise as much as possible to help the foundation continue supporting other children and families affected by childhood cancer.
