The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.

I want to donate my hair because I would like to help someone who is having a tough time in their life. My Mum couldn't carry a pregnancy and so I have a Tummy Mummy called Wendy. She was my Mum's surrogate and helped her become my Mum. Wendy has given her hair twice to The Little Princess Trust and she has inspired me to want to do the same thing myself. It's my way of giving something back. Wendy's own Mum lost her hair when she had chemotherapy and it really upset her.

I did feel a bit scared about how I would look with much shorter hair but I know it will grow back in time. I think the children who have been given bad news about having cancer must feel really scared and I want to help them get through their treatment with one less thing to upset them.
