The Hair & Beauty Charity provides practical & financial assistance to hair and beauty professionals fallen on hard times, offering support to help people get back on their feet and ultimately back into work.

The last 5 years has seen a 1200% rise in applications from people aged 18-30, a 300% rise in male applicants aged 31-40 (since 2019), and an influx of requests from beauty therapists.

There's also been a shocking rise in applications from those fleeing domestic violence, or unable to work due to trauma following a sexual attack (120%).

The Charity gives financial payments to help with everyday home running costs, clothes, toys and furniture (beds, carpets and washing machines, for example) especially for families needing rehousing, and often replace professional kit items where appropriate, and offer opportunities for refresher training and mentoring.
