I’m running the Hackney Half (and my first ever half marathon!) to raise funds for Bail for Immigration Detainees. BID provides free legal advice and support to people held in immigration detention in the UK.

The amount I’m aiming to raise would cover the cost of BID’s phone advice line for a week. People in detention face huge barriers when trying to access legal support, BID’s work is essential in helping them secure their release!
