Mitochondrial disease is a debilitating illness that currently has no cure. I am running the Oxford Half Marathon in October to raise money for 'My Mito Mission' - a UK charity that aims to increase awareness, raise funds for research, support families and above all hope for a cure for everyone with mitochondrial disease.

I am by no means a runner, and if my brother Rory were here he would definitely show me up, but I am going to play some girl boss tunes and give it my best shot. Any amount that you can spare to donate would mean the world!
