Story
I’m taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life - climbing Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa - to raise money for Maggie’s Nottingham.
This challenge is especially close to my heart, as I’ve been Centre Head at Maggie’s Nottingham for the past 7 years.
During that time, I’ve had the privilege of seeing first-hand the incredible difference our charity makes to people living with cancer, as well as their family and friends. I work with the most amazing team who inspire me every single day.
Maggie’s provides free, practical and emotional support in a warm, welcoming environment - a place where people can find strength, understanding, and hope when they need it most.
Every day, I see the impact of this support. I hear the stories, witness the courage, and understand just how vital these our centres are. That’s why I wanted to take on a challenge that truly pushes me - both physically and mentally.
Climbing Mount Toubkal will not be easy. It will test my endurance, resilience, and determination. But knowing I’m doing this for Maggie’s Nottingham - and for everyone who relies on our support - will keep me going every step of the way.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Maggie’s Nottingham continue to provide essential support to those who need it most.
Thank you so much for your support — it genuinely means everything.
