Support the Rebuild & Sustainability of Jamia Al-Hudaa Nottingham
A Sadaqah Jaariyah in the Month of Ramadan
In Loving Memory of My Nani, Anowara Khanom
This appeal is dedicated to my dearly loved Nani, Anowara Khanom, who returned to her Creator after passing away from COVID on the blessed 27th night of Ramadan.
My Nani was truly unproblematic, a woman of quiet strength, patience, and sincerity. She never involved herself in conflict and carried a peaceful presence wherever she went. Her life was simple, her heart was soft, and her concern was always for the wellbeing of her family. She lived with dignity and left this world in one of the most sacred nights of the year.
I humbly ask you to keep her in your du’as and pray that Allah forgives her shortcomings, fills her grave with light, and elevates her ranks in Jannah. May Allah grant her the highest مقام among the righteous. Ameen.
I hope this effort becomes a continuous charity on her behalf a source of ongoing reward that reaches her in her grave.
Ameen
About Jamia Al-Hudaa Nottingham
Jamia Al-Hudaa Nottingham is a residential Darul Uloom for girls, established in 1996. For nearly three decades, it has been dedicated to educating young Muslim women through its Aalimah programme, serving families across the UK and Europe.
Its graduates go on to teach Qur’an and Islamic studies, nurture communities, and raise families grounded in knowledge and faith. The impact of this institution extends far beyond its walls, shaping homes, classrooms, and future generations.
Supporting this Jamia means investing in sacred knowledge that continues to benefit others for years to come.
Why Your Support Is Needed
The Jamia relies heavily on parental contributions. With rising living costs and financial pressures, the institution is currently facing serious challenges while urgent maintenance work must be completed.
Immediate priorities include:
• Phase 1 Roof Repairs – £60,000 (close to completion)
• Full Boiler Replacement – £115,000 required
These are essential works to ensure the safety, warmth, and wellbeing of the students who live and study there daily.
Why Give in Ramadan?
Ramadan is a month in which rewards are multiplied beyond measure. Giving charity in these blessed days carries immense weight.
Imagine the reward of every prayer performed in that building.
Every verse memorised.
Every lesson taught.
Every student who goes on to guide others.
By contributing, you share in that ongoing reward and I pray that Allah allows my Nani to receive a share of it as well.
How You Can Help
• Donate whatever you are able, no amount is insignificant
• Share this appeal with others
• Most importantly, remember my Nani, Anowara Khanom, in your du’as
A small act given sincerely for the sake of Allah can carry immense weight on the Day of Judgement.
May Allah accept your charity, place barakah in your wealth, forgive our loved ones who have passed, and make this a means of elevation in ranks for my Nani. Ameen.
