Story

In 2021 the family of Jude came into my working life and since then this amazing inspirational family have stayed part of my whole life.

Jude had the most amazing motto of "I am kind, I am brave and I never give up" something we could all learn so much from.

Jude suffered with Epilepsy and this cruel illness effected Jude's life but never his personality.

I have always enjoyed running but in 2022 I started suffering with sciatica. I was told to stop running and that in time I may be able to run a bit. A small operation early in 2023 helped relieve the pain but was told again running would be something I would struggle with.

At the HeyJude summer fundraising ball the chance came to represent Jude, his family and raise money for Young Epilepsy by running the London Marathon and I decided I have to do this, its now or never.

With the support of my brilliant PT Coach Redgate whose changed my training routine, Andy (Jude's dad) for his excellent running tips, Laura (Jude's mum) whose energy is an inspiration and my amazing wife Jane who motivates and encourages me, I wont give up.

Please support me with as much or as little as you can, every £ would mean so much and more importantly help the life of another special young person just like Jude Cunnane.

Thank you all
