Story

It’s been 3 years since my Dad passed away after an 8 year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. It feels like just yesterday we were enjoying family time, watching old movies together and making memories. Losing him has left an empty space inside of me but i've learnt so much about myself in this time and grown as a person and I hope he's proud of the man i've become.

My brother George set up a campaign called Alzheimer’s Heroes after Dad passed away in order to try and help spread more awareness around Alzheimers Disease and embarked on an incredible challenge running 6 marathons in 6 different cities in 12 months. He inspired many others including me to join him and together we've managed to raise over £200,000 to date for Alzheimer’s Research UK to try and help in the race to find a cure.

I ran my first marathon in Larnaca (Cyprus) on Sunday 17th November 2024 with my Brother’s George and James and my Girlfriend Leah. It was by far one of the toughest challenges i’ve ever faced but the feeling of running together in front of our family in our home town was a feeling that I will never forget and I felt the presence of my Dad with us all the way round.

It’s a year on now and im excited to share my news with you all that I will be running the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 26 April 2026 in honour of my Dad and will be raising money on behalf of Alzheimer’s Resesrch UK once again. This one's personal and i’m determined to show what i'm truly capable of as I try to achieve the very best time I can.

Every step I take will be for my Dad and for the Alzheimer's community and I can’t wait to do my bit once again to make a difference in the fight to find a cure for this terrible disease.

Please like and share my journey with your family & friends as your encouragement and support means everything to me and any donations will be greatly appreciated and will go towards making a massive difference for an amazing cause.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and let’s smash this together team 🧡
