I am excited to share that I will be participating in the London Marathon 2024 to raise funds for Kidney Care UK. As a kidney patient at Gloucestershire Royal, this cause is incredibly personal and close to my heart. I am grateful for the opportunity given to me by the kidney care team.

Living with kidney problems without the need for daily dialysis is a privilege not everyone has. Unfortunately, many kidney patients face financial hardships due to the rising costs of utilities, fuel, and food. Even before these price increases, home haemodialysis already costs between £16,000 and £23,000 per year.

No one should have to choose between life-saving medical treatment, heating their home, or putting food on the table. That's why your support is crucial. Kidney Care UK receives no government funding, so every donation makes a significant impact.
