Story
I just want to introduce my self, I'm April. I decided to take on this challenge as around 5 years ago when I was 8 I found a passion for football. I joined many event Leeds United Foundation put on. I met players and it really drove my self to push hard in a hobby I enjoyed. Unfortunately after I broke my tibia and fibula. I recovered buy issues arose it create pain in my foot. To later find I had issues with my feet. I had to give up my hobby. I would love to support the foundation as I have so many happy memories and many other children enjoyed the football camps.
Support our fantastic thrill seekers that are abseiling Elland Road to raise money for the Leeds United Foundation. Participants will be taking on this abseil and zipwire challenge in aid of the Foundation, which delivers programmes across the city of Leeds to all children.
Every day, through the power of the badge the Foundation creates opportunities for young people and their communities to thrive. Through our education, wellbeing, and sports programmes we empower and inspire them to grow in confidence, develop skills, and find a sense of belonging, positively impacting their families and the community around them. The impact of our work is real and lasting.
