Cancer turns peoples lives upside down, and Maggie's give professional support for anything from treatment side effects to money worries.

Maggie’s excellent support is free to anyone with cancer and their families who walk through their doors. They have walk-in centres alongside NHS hospitals and also give support online.

Maggies is a charity so needs funds to carry out their work. So I'm fundraising for them this year seeking contributions from you as I climb Mount Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

Mount Toubkal is 4,020 metres (13,189 ft) high, involving a trek of 48 kilometres. First ascent was in 1923, it is the highest mountain in North Africa, and there won't be much oxygen at the top.
