Suffolk Sight Charity Firewalk · 10 October 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Sight loss can impact independence, increase isolation, and affect mental health. Suffolk Sight provides a supportive community, with services that build resilience, restore confidence, and help people stay connected with improved wellbeing.

Story

Every step across hot coals at a Firewalk is a challenge—but for someone living with sight loss or visual impairment, everyday life can feel like a Firewalk of its own.

Imagine suddenly losing confidence to go out alone, struggling to recognise faces, read a letter, or do the things you've always taken for granted. Losing your sight can bring feelings of isolation, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future.

That’s why I’m taking on this Firewalk for Suffolk Sight. Their Emotional Support Service provides a lifeline to people, offering practical help, understanding, and someone to talk to when life feels overwhelming.

By supporting my challenge, you'll help Suffolk Sight continue to provide emotional support, restore confidence, and ensure no one has to face sight loss alone.

Please donate if you can—every contribution helps make a real difference. Thank you for helping me turn a few brave steps into lasting support for people across Suffolk living with sight loss
