Story
Thank you for joining us for the Artemis Charitable Foundation Golf Day, in aid of Scotty’s Little Soldiers – Artemis’ Charity of the Year 2026.
Scotty’s is a military charity that supports children and young people across the UK, aged 0 to 25, who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. Support is available whether their parent died while serving or as a veteran, and whatever the cause - including through illness, accident, suicide or while on active duty. Scotty’s also provides pre-bereavement support from the point of a terminal diagnosis and continues until the young person’s 25th birthday.
Founded in 2010 by Army widow Nikki Scott, the charity delivers lasting impact through its three Family Programmes - focusing on wellbeing, community, and development. Scotty’s ensures bereaved military children and their families are supported, empowered, and never alone.
Artemis is a long-term supporter of Scotty's and every £150 raised can fund care packages for our children for a year - including cards and vouchers at key times such as their birthday, Christmas, Remembrance and the Anniversary of Death of their parent.
In 2025 Scotty's supported 796 children and young people (who are members until their 25th birthday). But we now know there are more than 2,100 newly bereaved military children each year. So we have work to do.
Thank you so much for your support.
