In June 2018, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the age of 31. I have never made my condition ‘public’ as did not want anyone to look at me or treat me differently. However, I am in acceptance of my condition and I feel this is my time to raise awareness of the disease as well as hopefully raise money for a remarkable charity.

For those who are not familiar with MS, it is an autoimmune condition that mistakenly attacks the nervous system which can result in a multitude of symptoms and, in some cases, disability. I am eternally grateful for the extensive research into MS and to our NHS for a variety of medication available to halt or slow down progression of the disease. Thankfully I’ve had no new brain lesions in the last 5 years 🤞🏼

I am doing this to raise awareness of MS as well as raise money for a remarkable charity, MS-UK (https://www.ms-uk.org/). If you would be kind enough to donate, no matter how small, I would be extremely grateful 🤗 MS-UK was established in 1993, and is a national charity dedicated to empowering people with multiple sclerosis to make the most of today, and live life to the full.

To all my fellow warriors, this is for you as well as for all my future warriors. I hope that one day you will be able to say ‘I had MS’ as opposed to ‘I have MS’ 💪🏼🧡

Absolutely 💩 myself but this will be so worth it to raise awareness of MS and also fundraise for an amazing charity 🎗️💜
