My name is Ashley and this year I will be taking part in the great north run for the first time. I will be running in memory of my beautiful mam Naomi Swinney who suddenly died 26th May 2023 due to chronic alcohol misuse at the age of 48 years old. I want to raise money for this cause to help individuals and families going through similar situations. My mam enjoyed her fitness and wanted to run the great north run but never got the chance. On the 7th September 2025 I will be running the great north run for the both of us. Love you always mam xx
