Story

I had no idea what neuroblastoma was until very recently and I never gave any thought to how the research into and treatment of children's cancer was funded, why would I? I'd thankfully never been affected by it.

Recently a friend of mine's family life was turned upside down when their beautiful nine year old daughter was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Seeing the struggles they had to get her the treatment that she needs was difficult but that was nothing compared to seeing the effects that the aggressive treatment she is now receiving has had on her and her family.

The way they have dealt with this unimaginable situation is an absolute inspiration to me, I don't know how they do it.

I can't do anything to physically make the suffering any less but by running this marathon, hopefully I can raise some money to go towards vital research and treatment of this hideous illness. Please, please donate what you can, I don't have a specific amount in mind that I'd like to raise, I just want to do what I can.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
