I will be running (slowly) the Great Sutton Fun Run this June and this year I have chosen to raise money for The Society Mucopolysaccharide Diseases (The MPS Society). I have work closely with them and am always inspired by the impact they have on their patients. They provide a variety of support for patients with MPS conditions and Fabry disease, ranging from emotional, practical, social work, information and guidance and signposting. I have witnessed directly the positive impact they have as a society on their patients. It can be difficult to find a community when living with a rare disease such as MPS or Fabry. The MPS society has enabled patients to find this. For these reasons I would like to raise as much money for them as possible and would greatly appreciate any support!
