Bring a group of young Palestinians on a visit to Bradford in November 2025.

Help bring a group of Palestinian young people to the UK in autumn 2025 to share experiences with young people here and tell people here about their lives.

Story

I'm raising funds to support the CADFA (Camden Abu Dis Friendship Association) Autumn Youth Visit 2025 — and I hope you’ll consider helping.

This project brings young people from Palestine to the UK to meet their peers, share experiences, and speak about their lives. It’s about building understanding, raising awareness of human rights, and creating personal connections that break down barriers and open hearts.

Youth visits give young Palestinians the opportunity to meet young people from the UK, share experiences together and tell each other about their lives. This is a window on the world for these young people and a window on Palestine for everyone they meet.

The young Palestinians meet young people in the UK through schools and youth clubs, explore the places they visit and contribute to public events where others also can hear about Palestine. The feedback from the young people, leaders and helpers on both sides is very good and we are proud to run safe and happy visits despite the terrible context we are in.

During the last youth visit in October 2024, we met a 16-year-old named Ameer, from New Askar refugee camp in Nablus. He was thoughtful, full of energy, and curious about the world — someone who left a real impression on everyone he met.

A few months after the visit, we heard he’d been shot by settlers, not far from his home. His recovery required urgent surgery, and thanks to the strong connections built during the visit, people who had met Ameer came together in solidarity and helped make sure he got the care he needed. Today, after surgery and rehabilitation, he’s able to walk again with the help of mobility aids — and is continuing with his life and education.

His story is a powerful reminder of the real impact these visits can have — not only by raising awareness, but by creating lasting, supportive relationships across borders.

We’re now raising funds to make the November 2025 visit possible. Your donation will help contribute towards: Visa costs, Flights, Accommodation, Transport, Meals, Activities etc. Every contribution brings us one step closer to making this inspiring and transformative experience a reality for another group of young people.

Thank you so much for your support.
