Story
Support Palestinian youth and spread awareness across the UK
Youth visits give young Palestinians the opportunity to meet young people from the UK, share experiences together and tell each other about their lives. This is a window on the world for these young people and a window on Palestine for everyone they meet.
The young Palestinians meet young people in the UK through schools and youth clubs, explore the places they visit and contribute to public events where others also can hear about Palestine. The feedback from the young people, leaders and helpers on both sides is very good and we are proud to run safe and happy visits despite the terrible context we are in.
These tours gave our youth the freedom to express themselves about the occupation and its impact on their lives, problems and rights without fear, as they felt safe, exchanged cultures, raised awareness and met young people from the UK (Palestinian leader, October 2024)
Many thanks to those who gave us this opportunity to see life from a different perspective that does not include occupation, raids, fear, poverty, destruction and death, - Many thanks to those who opened their hearts to us (Palestinian youth leader, October 2024)
Building Hope | Voices from Palestine
CADFA has been running wonderful youth visits from Palestine since 2006 as an important part of our work of raising awareness of the situation in Palestine and encouraging people to work for human rights. Since 2022, we have been working with even more partners across the country in a project that really lives up to its name: Building Hope | Voices from Palestine.
When we got to October 2023, we had a youth visit planned but weren't sure that it could go ahead. However twe managed to run a successful visit in Feb-March 2024 and another in October 2024 and found that these exchanges seemed even better and more important than ever

A visit to the North of England
This year (2025-6) we are planning THREE visits of young people aged around 14 to the UK. The first will be to Wales in July, the second to the north of England in the autumn and then one to London and area in February 2026. We will raise the money through co-operation between partners and individual donations as we have no external funding. We really appreciate your help.
If your organisation, youth group or other would like to be involved in planning the visit/s, please contact us on contact@cadfa.org . Thank you
