Welcome to the Aspens Challenge 2027: Gower the Distance!
Following the incredible success of our Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in 2026, the Aspens Services team (and partners) are back—and this time, we are taking on the stunning Gower Peninsula in South Wales!
On Saturday, 12th June 2027, our team will be setting off straight from the beach at 7:00 AM to tackle the rugged coastal clifftops. Participants are pushing themselves across two gruelling distances:
The 15km Trek: A challenging hike along the cliffs, finishing in Rhossili.
The 30km Trek: An epic full-day coastal loop, returning to our base at Port Eynon across the beach at low tide.
Why are we doing this?
This year, we are incredibly proud to be raising money for YoungMinds, the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people's mental health.
Right now, 1 in 5 young people have a probable mental health condition, and many are forced to wait until they reach a crisis point before getting help. The money we raise will go directly towards funding their 24/7 Crisis Messenger, specialist Parents Helpline, and vital early-support programmes in schools.
Our goal is huge—we are aiming to raise £26,000 to make a real difference and ensure no young person has to face their mental health struggles alone.
