The recent floods in Punjab have devastated countless lives — homes have been destroyed, farmland ruined, and entire communities and villages displaced. Families are facing unimaginable loss, with many left without shelter, clean water, food, or basic medical care.

In response to this humanitarian crisis, we — Bikram, Gurpal, Harvir, Sandeep, Sunil and Vikram — will be running the Authentic Athens Marathon & 10k in support of the vital relief work led by the Midland Langar Seva Society (MLSS).

MLSS is a UK-based charity dedicated to selfless service (seva), providing food, support, and relief to those in need — regardless of background or faith.

Funds raised through this event will go directly towards delivering emergency aid to flood-hit areas: food, clean water, medical supplies, clothing, and temporary shelter for those who have lost everything.

This marathon is more than just a run. It’s a call to action — a symbol of solidarity between communities across the world, standing side by side with the people of Punjab during their darkest times.
