Story
I feel incredibly honoured to have secured a place in the London Marathon 2027, but being able to take on this challenge while raising money for Rainbows makes it even more meaningful to me.
I am a Finance Apprentice at Rainbows, so this is a charity that is much more than just a name to me. I witness the incredible work that goes on every day to support babies, children, young people and their families living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
Behind every family that Rainbows supports is a story, and behind every story is a family who deserves to be surrounded by care, compassion and support during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Rainbows helps families make the most of the time they have together, creating precious memories that can last a lifetime.
Being able to see the impact of this work through my role has made me want to give something back. Running the London Marathon will undoubtedly be one of the biggest challenges I have ever taken on, but knowing that I am doing it for the children, young people and families supported by Rainbows gives every mile a purpose.
Rainbows relies heavily on the generosity of the public to continue providing its specialist care and support. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a real difference to a family when they need it most.
I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give me on this journey. Your donation won't just help me get across the finish line — it will help Rainbows continue to be there for families when they need them the most.
