In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

{يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ تِجَارَةٍ تُنجِيكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيم}

(10) O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment - [As-Saff:10]

I am collaborating with Human Appeal this Ramadan as part of a global effort to raise funds for feeding 6000 people/1000 families across 15 countries, insha’Allah.

Unfortunately, more people than ever are experiencing hunger this year, with 828 million individuals uncertain about where their next meal will come from. This is especially challenging for those in the ummah who have been displaced by war, disease, climate change, and other factors. Your generosity can make a significant difference in their lives and earn you multiplied blessings during Ramadan.

Our main focus this Ramadan is to provide families in 15 countries, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Togo, and Nigeria with food parcels that contain essential and nutritious food items such as rice, sugar, salt, flour, chickpeas, lentils, tea bags, milk powder, pasta, dates, and 5 litres of oil. Each parcel is tailored to the local country and dietary needs and will be sufficient to feed a family of six for the entire month of Ramadan.

As the Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person."

{ مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ}

(261) The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing - [Al- Baqara:261]

You can give mercy now by donating

£70/$90 to feed a family-of-six for the entire month of Ramadan,

£140/$180 to feed two families, or

£350/$450 to feed five families.

This project is Zakat eligible, and you can also add gift aid to your donation at no extra cost to ensure that Human Appeal's administrative and other operational costs are covered to continue their much-needed work.

{إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتۡلُونَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَأَقَامُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ يَرۡجُونَ تِجَٰرَةٗ لَّن تَبُورَ}

(29) Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish - [Fātir:29]
