Story
I’m taking on the Beat 1-2-5 Challenge to raise awareness for eating disorders – a cause that’s very close to my heart.
At 16, I began struggling with an eating disorder, though I didn’t yet have a diagnosis. By 17, I was referred to CAMHS, and after turning 18, I continued therapy through adult services, where I was diagnosed with anorexia.
Thanks to the incredible support I received, I’m now 20 and recovered. It’s been a long and difficult journey, but I’ve come through it stronger and more determined to help others facing the same battle.
As part of the challenge, I’ll be walking 25 miles in one week to support Beat, the UK’s leading charity for people affected by eating disorders. They do vital work, offering hope, information, and help to so many individuals and families.
Please donate if you can – every contribution helps Beat continue their amazing work and brings us closer to a world where no one has to face an eating disorder alone.
Thank you 💜
