I’m running the Great North Run in 2025 in support of Prevent Breast Cancer. We lost my beautiful Gran to the disease in 2005 and this year my mam has been diagnosed and is currently being treated for it too. We are very grateful for the testing that has helped to find the cancer at an early stage and for the treatments that are going to make her better again. Prevent Breast Cancer are funding research with the aim that one day this will be a preventable disease that nobody will have to suffer from anymore.

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity funding ground-breaking research solely aimed at preventing breast cancer for future generations. Our research will one day bring about a world where breast cancer is preventable and thousands are saved from ever experiencing this terrible disease.
