I’m taking part in Turn Snowdon Pink to celebrate and recognise all those who’ve saved the lives of others through the gift of donation. I’m raising money for the NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) Charity because I want to help NHSBT teams push the boundaries of what’s possible in donation and transplantation and play a role in creating a future where every patient gets the organ or tissue donation they need, and every donor family gets the support they deserve.

Our amazing best friend recently lost his life very suddenly and had registered for organ donation.

His awful loss to this world wasn’t in vain as his organs were able to save and improve others lives with the gift of his organs being passed on.

The organ donation team were mindblowingly amazing throughout the whole process. They all travelled in from home, supported us all on a 121 basis, respected Stevie and got to know him as a person through us and respected exactly what he would have wanted, even playing his favourite songs during the procedure to take his organs to their next home.

I want to give back to this amazing cause.
