As you know, we, the staff at V-Recruit love to get involved in charitable events, and to make sure that we’re doing our bit for our local community and charities. Our aim is to increase the amount of time and money that we give to charitable causes each year.

Last year we donated and raised over £2700 for local charities. Our main charity challenge being in the month of October, where we worked as a team to walk/run/cycle/row a massive 1000km, with all moneys raised going to charity.

This year, the V-Recruit team, and some family & friends are completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, which is a 38.6km/24mile hike, including a 1585m/5200ft ascent, over Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, and are aiming to do this in under 12 hours.

We are sure that there will be blood, blisters, (lots of) sweat, and (surely some) tears, but all money raised will go to the amazing Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, who work tirelessly for abandoned and neglected small and large animals in our local area, and beyond.
