Story

DONATE TO OUR EMERGENCY FUND NOW

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake has struck south-eastern Turkey, near the Syrian border. The region is experiencing significant aftershocks, including another 7.5 magnitude earthquake that has hit close to the last one.

Reports estimate that thousands of people have lost their lives already. Thousands of children were forced out of their homes into the freezing night, without shelter.

Our teams are working hand-in-hand with partner organisations across northwest Syria and Turkey to assess what children and their families need, so we can deliver emergency relief.

But we urgently need your help.

THE EMERGENCY FUND IS TRULY THE BEST AND MOST EFFICIENT WAY TO HELP CHILDREN IN CRISIS.

This special reserve of money allows us to reach children as quickly as possible in devastating emergencies, and means we are already racing to assess the needs of children in Turkey and Syria.
