Hello, my name is Isabella Saunders, a Scout from 5th Sheppey. I have been selected as one of only two Scouts from Sheppey. I am working alongside the six other scouts from Sheppey & Sittingbourne to go to the World Scouting Jamboree in Poland in 2027. It is an honour to have been given this opportunity to represent my group, district, county and country.

Currently, I am 13 years old and the youngest to be selected from Sheppey and Sittingboure.

The world scouting jamboree will be a good experience because I will be able to learn useful skills, and gain knowledge that I can use later in scouting and in life. Allowing me to be more confident, to learn skills and try different experiences. I am looking forward to learning about cultures from around the world.

I have completed beavers, cubs and scouts so far in my group, following in my older sisters footsteps and will continue throughout explorers and network. I also want to start completing young leader training to further my skills and knowledge within the scouting community.

I have found a love for camping and the different outdoor activities that scouting has been able to offer me. Some of these being archery, air rifle shooting, hiking and axe throwing. Scouting has also giving me skills in first aid, communication, fire safety and networking.

It's an exciting experience to learn and see other countries and their cultures. As I have only experienced some cultures so far in my life.
