I have been lucky enough to secure a charity place for the Sydney Marathon 2026!! The charity i have chosen is the MS-UK. This organisation helps people affected by Multiple Sclerosis, in which I have family members affected with it so it's very personal to me! On average 135 people a week are diagnosed with MS, estimating 2.3 million people overall are living with it.

MS is a condition that affects the central nervous system - the brain and spinal cord. There is currently no cure. The symptoms people experience vary greatly from person to person and over time. Such symptoms may include fatigue, pain, sensory problems such as with vision, cognition difficulties and issues with bodily functions such as speech and swallowing and bladder and bowel.

With the money raised, it will help charities like MS-UK help and provide information to the people affected and help people live life as they wish
