If you know me, you’ll know I always try to do what I can to support charity.

Over the years, I’ve helped raise in excess of £30,000 for a number of different charities, supporting people I’ve never met, as well as family members and people close to me.

But this one is different.

This one is closer to home… my home. 💙

My fiancée, Hayley, has lived with Crohn’s disease for many years. There have been good months and even good years, but there have also been some incredibly difficult times.

Unfortunately, over the past couple of months, things have taken a turn for the worse. Hayley is currently in hospital awaiting an operation, which will be the next step in managing her Crohn’s disease and hopefully helping her get back to a better quality of life.

It’s a huge challenge for Hayley, but if there’s one thing I know about her, it’s that she will face it head-on. She’s always found a way to take whatever life throws at her and make the best of a difficult situation. ❤️

So now it’s my turn to take on a challenge.

I’m running a HALF MARATHON. 🏃‍♂️

Something I’ve always said I would never do… and, if I’m honest, something I’ve never really wanted to do! 😂

But when I look at everything Hayley has been through, and everything she continues to face, running 13.1 miles suddenly doesn’t seem quite so difficult.

I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for a charity that supports people living with Crohn’s disease and works to make the daily challenges they face a little easier.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to help raise money for people I’ve never even met.

This time, it’s personal. This one is for Hayley. 🫶💙
