I'm running the Swansea University Swansea Half Marathon 2024 and supporting Making Strides for Mental Health. This is an outstanding cause underpinning projects and initiatives that foster good mental health and provide invaluable support for those who are currently experiencing mental health struggles.

Looking after our mental health has never been more important, and having directly experienced the challenges and impacts of mental health conditions, personally and amongst my family and friends, I feel passionate about supporting a cause that will help everyone get the support they need to stay well and happy.

I was inspired to start running by the amazing physical and fundraising efforts of my wife (Ruth) and my colleagues across Swansea University in 2023. I've never run more than 8 miles in a straight line and my over 40 body is starting to creak but I'll give this my absolute best shot!
