Story
π Iβm Running for HCCN! π
On Sunday 8th March 2026, Iβll be taking on the Cambridge Half Marathon, running 13.1 miles in support of Hunts Community Cancer Network (HCCN). Iβm proud to be part of this incredible team of 10 runners, all raising funds to help adults in Huntingdonshire who are living with or beyond a cancer diagnosis.
In June 2024 I sadly lost my mum, Alison, to cancer. She was the most beautiful, kind and wonderful person you could ever wish to meet. Throughout her battle she was supported by the wonderful people at HCCN and I will be forever grateful for everything they did for her and our family. Last year I ran the Cambridge Half Marathon on behalf of HCCN and helped raise an incredible amount of money for the charity. Iβm extremely proud and honoured to have the opportunity to do it again!
HCCN provides emotional, physical and practical evidence based support, helping people feel more empowered, more connected, and more like themselves again.
