Story
On the 23rd of December, I will be taking on the Bay Limestone Round. A 55 mile adventure starting at Grange-over-Sands and finishing on the iconic Arnside Pier. The route includes 13 summits, with 8,700 feet of ascent. While taking in many stunning views the south lakes have to offer.

I have had my eye on this challenge since its inception in 2020. The finish is within sight of my parent's house and where I grew up. So safe to say I know some of the area pretty well.
Taking on this 55 miles route is definitely a prospect that scares me. It is significantly further than I have run before. So completing the distance will be a massive achievement.
I am hoping this route will take me around 10 hours. I will be catching the train across the Bay early to get to the start. Then getting underway at 06:20. So hoping to finish around 16:00 and celebrate with some world-famous Chips from Arnside chippy!
While taking on this massive challenge. I hope to raise money for Mind.
A charity helping those going through mental health problems. No time is this more prevalent than through these dark, cold winter months.
"We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner."
